When I was pregnant with Addy, we decided initially not to find out the sex of the baby. As the months rolled on, we just couldn't wait and so we decided to get a 3D ultrasound at a place that my friend recommended. It was an awesome experience and the photos were just amazing. Staying with that tradition, we got another 3D ultrasound done the end of June and this time we had Addy to take with us. We went to a different place this time as the first place had relocated far away in Maryland. It was another amazing experience and I think Addy really enjoyed see the baby! And, we did get confirmation that we are indeed having another girl. Lucky for Doug, he didn't have to repaint the kids' room! :) Here are some pictures of our sweet baby girl.
Her mouth is open!
Here she is smiling :)
And a side view with her hand
Of course we had to look at the ultrasound pictures of our beautiful Addy when we immediately got home and compare. What do you think, do they look alike?

Pregnant Sisters
My sister Ashley and I are a year a part in age. She lives in Idaho and I live in Virgnia. She has 3 kids and I have 1 kid. She is quite outgoing and I'm rather reserved. Really there is not much similar between us except that we get along really well. But, you'd never guess that she and I are pregnant at the same time. But that's not the strange thing...we are due on the exact same day, August 22nd! Pretty crazy, eh??! Of course we couldn't be too similar with this pregnancy, so she's having a boy, and I'm having a girl; I've had a relatively easy pregnancy, and she was quite sick during her entire 1st trimester. But, it is fun to share this pregnancy with her! I had the opportunity of seeing her while out at my nephew's wedding. Here is a picture of us pregnant together :)

Can You Tell Me How To Get, How To Get To SESAME PLACE?
This past weekend we made the trek up to Sesame Place which is NE of Philly. For those of you that don't know, Sesame Place is an amusement park for kids and is even tailored toward babies and toddlers. It has all the Sesame Street characters which Addy loves! We went with my friend from work and her daughter Brooke who is four who Addy met at playgroup. It was a great time although, if you recall, it was the HOTTEST weekend! We tried to stay cool but really really loved getting back to the hotel and resting in the middle of the day. Saturday was packed with people. We stayed over Saturday night and had breakfast with Elmo and friends on Sunday morning before heading back home. Can I just tell you that I rode one ride (a small balloon ride that doesn't go up very high) and got so scared! It was the weirdest thing. I guess that comes with being 30 weeks pregnant :) Monty stayed home and kept Grandma Gurr company! Here are some pics from our trip. Just look how happy the girls are in the pictures!
Addy Turns Two ~ Let's Go To The Zoo!!
I really cannot believe that Addy is now 2 years old! Really, where did the time go? Addy had multiple birthday celebrations. She had one at her playgroup which I forgot to take the camera to (I did take the camcorder but I will not even attempt to add a video clip at this point in my blogging infancy). When the kids sang Happy Birthday to her, she sang right along too. It was adorable. And she blew out BOTH of her candles BY HERSELF! Yes, I'm proud.
Even though Addy's birthday is on May 23rd, we decided to celebrate her birthday the weekend after Memorial Day weekend. I was attending my nephew's wedding on her actual birthday so we postponed her birthday celebrations about a week. We kept the birthday celebrations small with just family and it was perfect. My sister, her husband and their 3 boys stayed with us the weekend and we started the festivities off at the National Zoo. Addy's Gran'dad and Gran'mama Fitz also joined. Grandma Gurr came over after the Zoo. Addy and the boys had a blast! Check out some of these super cool animals:
Here are some pics of the whole gang enjoying the day at the Zoo:
We then headed back home to eat a LION cake!
Here's Addy checking out the cake:
And, here she is blowing out the candles:
If you've ever see JoJo's Circus on Disney (it comes on at 6am during the week and yes you will be up that early if you have kids), you'd probably notice that the Lion looks very similar to Goliath the Lion. Did I mention that Addy's proud parents made the Lion cake at 11pm the night before? Homemade frosting...no pattern...we have pictures to prove it!
Most of the credit for that genius cake goes to my wonderful husband who is much more creative then myself!
The day concluded with much playing! Happy Birthday Addy!!

Did You Hear The News?
That's right, folks. Addy will soon be a BIG SISTER and Monty will soon be a BIG BROTHER (again)! We're have baby #2!! I am due August 22nd, so Addy and the new baby will be 2 years and 3 months a part. We couldn't wait to find out the sex. I really like to have everything ready, and since Addy and the new baby will be sharing a room, we would have to change the paint color from pink to something more gender neutral if we have a boy. The result of the ultrasound is that we're having another GIRL!! We're hoping to do another 3D ultrasound just as we did with Addy. Stay tuned for pictures from that experience!
Disney 2007
We have the privilege of having family that frequents Disney World. So, we were able to spend a week in Orlando with Gran-dad and Gran-mama Fitz before Christmas. We stayed in a glorious timeshare right outside the parks and spent the week riding rides, frequenting amazing playgrounds, and eating to-die-for food. We saw fireworks most evenings and stayed up WAY too late....or at least too late for an 18 month old (at the time)! Yes, this post is many months late but I wanted to share our pictures none the less. Check out the slide show!
Did I mention it was pretty chilly that week!! Addy had a good time ~ she was attached to Daddy the entire time and was a little scared of the characters, but she loved the rides (like It's a Small World), and the playgrounds (like Honey I Shrunk the Kids)! We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM (her favorite) and even had dinner with Minnie Mouse!
