Happy 5 Months, Avery!

Wow. I can't believe Avery is 5 months old today! Time has sure flown by since the day she was born. She is getting so big now and can barely squeeze into her 6 month clothes. Addy, Avery and I were at Kohl's this morning and we bought Ave a 9 month outfit; thought we'd give her a little breathing room you know?! She started eatting cereal a couple of weeks ago and is getting more and more used to a spoon. We've discovered she really prefers oatmeal over rice cereal :)
Here she is at her first feeding. And, the first spoonful is coming....

And, it's gone....Yumm.

Avery LOVES sleeping in her crib. We finally got the bassinet out of our room and she is now in Addy's room for good. She loves her crib and continues to sleep really well at night. I'm still waiting for her bedtime to be a little earlier then 9:30pm and look forward to that day :) I snuck this picture of her today on her birthday snoozing in her crib.

Avery continues to be a very happy baby. She loves playing with her toys; she loves to stand and sit (with help of course); she often giggles outloud while watching Addy play. Addy is enjoying her company more and likes to include her in dancing and clapping. We absolutely love Avery being a part of our family. Happy 5 months, Ave!!

Happy 5mo. Avery. We loved meeting you in Florida. Will is also sporting 9m clothes and actually has some 12m jammies he sleeps in currently. Crazy! Will started eating too and likes the cereal as long as I add a little bit of sweet potatoes or green beans or pears. I know I know I should stick with one at a time, but I tend to want them to try a whole bunch of different things. Luckily we have been okay with allergies. Knock on wood. Will started being scared in the tub lately though but tonight he took a bath and didn't cry. It was fun. He is trying to sit up as well and He ABSOLUTELY LOVES to play with his toes. If he is ever fussy, I lay him on the floor and he plays with his feet and is a happy clam. Anyhow, I am rambling...it is fun to see your post. Love ya !!

Wow....he's doing great! Avery is not playing with her toes at all. Now that i think about it i think it's strange! I'm dying to give her something else besides cereal but she's still working on getting the spoon down. The majority of food goes down her neck, and then it's bath, etc. Well, you know! :) OK, on the post some stuff about vacation!!!!

I am so amazed that you all would do that trip, with 2 small ones. Reminds me of other trips with Tommy and Dougie, and their first trip to Disney World. And Dougie had such a hard time with it.
As the story goes, Dink could tell you more...........

I was home taking care of Toby and cats, and birds.
