OK, so we had a Terrific halloween!! As you can see, Addy was JoJo the clown and Avery was her pet lion Goliath. The best part (well, kinda) ~ Addy's costume was a gift from her friend Brooke (free) and Avery's costume was comprised of a $1 hoody from a yard sale, pants given to her (free), and $1 worth of brown felt from the fabric store. Oh, and the red face-paint was $1.50. Yep, I was quite pleased with how frugal I was this Halloween! But on to the important stuff...Here is Addy "becoming" JoJo:
Addy even made sure to watch JoJo in action on TV to make sure she portrayed her correctly. Avery also watched.

G'ma Gurr watched Goliath and baked pumpkin chocolate chip cookies while we were out. Of course we came back after trick-or-treating and Addy "decorated" cookies. There was definitely more eatting of the icing and candy corns then decorating going on. I'm surprised she actually slept that evening!

That is so adorable. I loved Goliath!! Did Addy understand the concept of getting candy by knocking on doors. I know some kids have a hard time with that the first time out. That was nice mom could be there and fancy you with her cookin!! glad you guys had a great Halloween!!
She pretty much understood it as we talked about what to do all day before we went. She just wouldn't say "trick-or-treat" to the nice people at the door!
